ORGANIZATION & STRUCTURE OF THE SPSA
The Executive Committee consists of a chair or co-chairs who are elected on an annual basis in September. The responsibilities of the Executive Council are to coordinate activities and meetings of SPSA, and disseminate information about SPSA and program events and issues. All School Psychology students are invited to participate in activities presented by the SPSA.

Organization of Student Representatives: The elected representatives include a representative of the PhD students, a representative of the advanced Masters students and a representative of the first year class. The student representatives attend and participate in School Psychology faculty meetings, and act as a liaison between students and faculty members.

Liaison with Professional Organizations: The SPSA established liaison with local, provincial, national and international professional organizations related to the practice of School Psychology. The SPSA strives to connect with school psychology services in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, the British Columbia Association of School Psychologists, the College of Psychologists of British Columbia , other provincial associations, includint the Psychologists in Education Division of the Canadian Psychological Association, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the American Psychological Association.
